This gentle introduction/refresher to the essentials of working with statistics is aimed at those who have little/no experience of the subject and/or have been terrified/traumatised by previous encounters.
We deliver the course over two half-days, rather than one full day, to prevent delegates feeling overloaded, and to allow time for a little reflection between the two parts of the course.
The course covers the very basics of analysing and presenting statistical data, including summarising data with numbers (including the Normal distribution and confidence intervals) and dealing with tables and graphs. These topics will be demonstrated using Excel (and SPSS for those who want to explore using this software).
