The MSc Clinical Skin Integrity and Wound Management offers students a range of wound and skin integrity related modules that appeal to healthcare professionals who want to develop a deeper understanding of chronic wound healing and conditions affecting skin integrity. This programme combines the closely related specialties of wound management and dermatology and is unique.The programme allows flexibility to study related specialist content to broaden student’s clinical expertise which is invaluable in today’s competitive workplace and brings a richness to the overall programme from an inter-professional and intra-professional perspective.

Practical skills are assessed through summative in-course assessments in the form of OSCE, written assignments, project plans, clinical audit, and presentations, clinical portfolios, and log diaries
The part-time pathway is for UK & EU practitioners and is designed to be studied alongside full-time employment. Part-time students are expected to study approximately ten hours per week or international students who are studying/residing in the UK on an appropriate visa due to significant commitment to study.
There are 2 intakes to this programme; October or February. Modules are taught throughout the academic year. Students are required to attend all timetabled teaching sessions which are arranged into study blocks usually of 2 – 3 days duration which provides flexibility for part time students to fit study commitments into their busy professional lives.
Modular Structure
The award of MSc Skin Integrity and Wound Management requires 180 credits.
A minimum of 30 credits will be studied from specialist compulsory modules and a minimum of 30 credits from optional specialist modules.
A maximum of 30 credits can be studied from modules of common interest (Optional) with the remaining 60 credits from compulsory core modules.
Part time students can study a maximum of 90 credits per academic year.
A total of 6 x 30 credit modules will be studied.

The price quoted above is per 30 credits and relates to students assessed as UK/home self-funded for fee purposes. Prices may differ for students that are assessed as EU Overseas/Overseas.
